혈액생성 줄기세포 이식과 제대혈, Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and umbilical cord blood
- 혈액생성 악성질환이나 종양, 골수부전 증후군, 유전성 면역결핍 증후군, 혈색소 병, 또는 대사성 질환 등 선천성 질환이나 후천성 질환의 일부를 혈액생성 줄기 세포 이식 수술로 치료할 수 있다.
- 혈액생성 줄기세포, 골수 혈액 또는 제대 혈액으로 혈액생성 줄기 세포 이식을 할 수 있다.
- 1995년에 처음 제대 혈액 줄기세포 골수이식 치료를 실행했고
- 생존자의 가족의 간의 일부로 1999년에 처음으로 간이식수술을 성공했다.
- 필요에 따라 제대혈액 혈구모세포(줄기세포)로 골수이식치료를 할 수 있도록 태어난 아기의 제대 혈액을 보관한다.

Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and umbilical cord blood
• Some congenital or acquired diseases such as hematogenous malignant diseases or tumors, bone marrow failure syndrome, hereditary immunodeficiency syndrome, hemoglobin disease, or metabolic diseases can be treated with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
• Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation can be done with hematopoietic stem cells, bone marrow blood or umbilical cord blood.
• First performed umbilical cord blood stem cell bone marrow transplantation in 1995;
• The first successful liver transplant was performed in 1999 as part of the survivor’s family. • If necessary, the umbilical cord blood of the newborn baby is stored for bone marrow transplantation with umbilical cord blood stem cells (stem cells).
• The cord colitis syndrome is a colitis syndrome that occurs after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation into umbilical cord blood. Source: N Engl J Med 365:815, September 1, 2011
